Peavey C8P Midi Controller for Sale

This is THE classic powerhouse MIDI controller from Peavey. I bought it many years ago for about $400 when I sales managed a little music shop in Murfreesboro, TN. It still has a good amount of features that make it competitive with the current offerings.

Features:
88 semi-weighted keys
4 assignable faders with on/off switches
2 MIDI ins, 4 MIDI outs
1 pitch bend wheel and 2 mod wheels
Adjustable view angle
2 assignable CV pedal inputs
2 assignable footswitch inputs
Solid metal chassis

Almost everything on this piece of equipment is assignable. You can set faders, footswitches and MIDI ins to breath control or any number of values. You can set the keys to several zones, and with 4 MIDI outs control multiple pieces of outboard or computer equipment at once. This is a heavy piece as well. I'd venture it weighs close to 50 lbs, so it you're small you won't want to carry this around. I'm not offering a case, but I do include a power cable. It's a standard computer cable, which makes it easy to replace. You can still download the manual for this controller. You can create your own custom settings for different pedals, outboard equipment or VST programs. I have quite a bit of fun using it with the FM7 and Hammond plugins.

Since this is kind of a bear to use, please only serious inquiries. I don't want to lug it all over town, and understandably I'm not keen inviting strangers over off of the internet. It's in good working order other than the image display being a bit sunk in. I think one side has a broken support leg or something. All the input methods, keys and faders worked at last play, so let's find this puppy a new home.

Cash only. Locals only. Absolutely no shipping! I can meet you in Nashville or immediately surrounding areas by appointment.
Please reply only to this ad.
Thanks,
Alex
