Designed by the esteemed Los Angeles firm Laurence Lee Associates, WET REPUBLIC Pool Party will envelop guests in a contemporary, linen-white palette adorned with vibrant hues of emerald green, turquoise and canary yellow evoking a sensuous South Beach ambiance. True to its name, water is the leitmotif at WET REPUBLIC with eight separate pools and spas totaling more than 7,600 square feet of cool blue indulgence. At its centerpiece, WET REPUBLIC will feature two spectacular saltwater pools – the only on the Las Vegas Strip – measuring 2,500 and 3,500 square feet, respectively. Six cascading waterfalls will accent the vast poolscape and create the illusion of a never-ending flow of water.

Skin Beach at The Palms Pool - Ditch Fridays & Saturday / Sunday Pool Party

The first pool party stretches out in front of the restaurant terrace and is ringed by six woven-metal, cylindrical cabanas with sophisticated custom interiors.

An ankle-deep wading area gives way to a second pool party that holds up to eight floating tables with their own umbrellas, attended to by swimming cocktail servers. To the right are three two-story bungalows - each with its own pool party, double-sided fireplace, lawn and bedroom. To the left, round, canvas cabanas flank a concert stage. Ikea-style, canvas-topped teepees with Astroturf occupy a terrace above three stone cabanas, with a waterfall flowing from the second floor to shield a bar.

In the space between the first two pool parties, a triangular glass bar and six blackjack tables are set beneath the tiny glass-bottomed third pool party, with two more waterfalls feeding the wading areas.

TAO Beach, is an Asian inspired pool concept located in The Venetian Hotel adjacent to The Venetian’s current pool operations on the fourth floor. The main emphasis of TAO Beach is on service and the quality and amount of amenities offered. TAO Beach offers a dipping pool as well as a large spa whirlpool.

A check in point is located at the entrance of TAO Beach in the NW corner of the Pool Party Deck.

Tao Beach, nestled in a secluded corner of the Venetian pool deck and surrounded by bushes that allow almost no room to peak in, you will find Tao Beach, an exclusive upscale pool party experience like nothing you’ve seen in Las Vegas or probably anywhere else for that matter.

The pool itself is overseen by a life-size Buddha statue similar to the one found inside the famous Tao nightclub, except this one appears to be sunbathing. Behind the Buddha statue is one of the resident DJs spinning some pool party music. There are also several cocktail waitresses in bikinis that will rush to serve you one of Tao Beach’s signature fresh fruit cocktails. If it’s a particularly hot day, you can even order some alcoholic popsicles to keep you cooled off. Pool Party boys will also come around handing out ice cold towels every so often to make sure guests don’t over heat. If you get hungry, the waitresses will bring you poolside take-out from one of the Venetian’s top lunch spots (menus vary).

Tao Beach is also a great place to hang out if you’re looking to get into Tao Nightclub later that evening. Jennifer is the CC barn manager and has been moving horses, breaking, training & finishing horses in western, english and performance for the past 20 years. Jennifer was one of the first Wrangler All Girl Team Penning Teams and 4H National Horse Judging Teams. Her career started as a Hunter Jumper training rider with emphasis in Dressage specializing in consistency, proper movement & balance. She has trained with top trainers around the country.

OUR TRAILERS ARE EXTRA BIG and built for Percherons and draft horses so your TB or tall Quarter Horse is guaranteed to get lots of room! We also have box stalls available for Mare and Foals. We scrub our trailers inside and out after each trip and ALL pets are required to have proper state health documentation before getting loaded. We have a new fleet of trucks and trailers which are SATELLITE TRACKED BY OUR CC OFFICE. Food and drinking water are provided constantly enroute to keep your horse content and horse treats are provided at each stop unless you indicate otherwise. Each of our trailer floors have one inch thick rubber floor mats plus 5 inches of high quality pine shavings on top of rubber to ensure your horse has a smooth ride.

Let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Barbara Larsen. I have been active in the pet industry for more than 22 years. In 1986 I graduated from Friendship Academy For Dogs in Washington DC with a Pet Dog Trainer and Kennel Management Certificate. I later worked as an understudy to Robert Vance with American Canine Institute in Mt. View, Ca. There I learned to Train in Canine Personal Protection, SchH, and Advanced Obedience instruction. I also managed his boarding kennel. At a later date I opened My own training and breeding business. Von Weissenberg German Shepherds and Dog Training, in Fremont California. I trained dogs for others and took my own dogs through a series of obedience and conformation titles. During that same period of time I worked as a Veterinary Technician for All About Pets Animal Hospital. When I moved to Las Vegas In 2001 I found a position as a Manager of a pet store chain. I worked with them for a year and a half and decided to move on. I then returned to the Veterinary Technician field, working with Dr. Elena Pederson at Advanced Animal Hospital.

In 2005 My parents opened a pet store here in Las Vegas, making it a family project. My Mother, father, brother and I ran Vegas Paws. I still do the purchasing of puppies for them. Over the years I’ve met some very nice and reputable folks in this industry. I personally took a trip to their homes and kennels to check them out and make sure everything was clean, up to standard with USDA and all the animals were well taken care of. I met a few I wouldn’t use again and a few who were hardworking friendly folk that took the time and care to do it right.

During the last three years we have added two new children to our brood. I Now am the mother of 4 beautiful daughters. Hence, the need for me to be at home more often came about. I started purchasing puppies from some of these folks that I met along my journey and bringing them into my home, having them vet checked, microchipped socialized with my kids and family and selling them here in Las Vegas. A News investigation has uncovered what appears to be the appalling treatment of animals being killed for their fur in China.

The investigators filmed animals that were kicking and writhing as workers ripped their skin from their bodies. If the animals struggled too much, workers stood on the animals' neck Or they beat the animals' heads with knife handles until the creatures stopped moving.

It's also a very slow process, and they usually start from the feet(paw)-up, giving the animal plenty of time to endure the pain. After their fur was peeled, the animals' bodies were tossed into a pile like so much trash, Most still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog, tossed onto a heap of carcasses; it had enough strength to lift its bloodied head and stare into the camera.

it raised its head, blinked with its remaining eyelashes and then lay its head down to continue dying for anything from 2-3 Hours

I have a male Soloman Island Eclectus that I am looking to rehome. He was hand fed, steps up, starting to try and talk, and is tame. Does well around our dog as well. I don't have the attention to spend on him that I originally did as I am not at home enough. Parrots need a lot of attention. He will come with his cage, toys, and whatever leftover food I have.
